Hi frens, it’s me, Albus. 🐾

Holidays can be wonderful… but they can also feel lonely, overwhelming, or exhausting.

Maybe you’re grieving. Maybe crowds make you anxious. Maybe depression has made it hard to enjoy things. Maybe loud fireworks remind you of things you’d rather forget.

If everyone else seems to be celebrating today, but you’re just trying to make it through… I’m saving you a safe spot next to me: away from the loud boom-booms and smoky smells. 🎆🧨🤍

So if you’re spending today somewhere quiet, wrapped in a blanket, cuddling your favorite pet, or simply getting through the day one hour at a time… that’s okay too.

Your healing doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s celebration.

This tiny guy has one job: to remind my clients that anxiety can be a little overprotective…and a little bit of a liar. 😅

Anxiety isn’t the enemy—we all experience it, and it often serves an important purpose by trying to keep us safe.

The problem isn’t having anxiety. It’s when anxiety starts running the show and convincing you that every scary thought is true.

Because while anxiety is real, not every anxious thought is a fact.

And sometimes…your anxiety is a lying hoe. 🤍☺️🫶

Five years ago, Courage Counseling opened its doors with the hope of creating a safe, supportive place for healing and growth.

This season has brought a lot of change, but one thing remains the same: my heart for this work and the privilege of walking alongside my clients.

Courage Counseling has a new cozy, safe space to call home—same heart, same therapist, just a new office… and a very important moving box full of Albus’s stuff. 🐾📦

Thank you for growing with me over these past five years and for allowing Courage Counseling to continue being a place of healing, hope, and connection. I can’t wait to welcome you here.
