Resident of the Month - Albert "Al" Bokma!!

People come to The Lutheran Home at Kane for many different reasons, and Albert "Al" was no exception. He was admitted with a serious illness and a poor prognosis. Rather than allowing his diagnosis to define him, Al approached his recovery with remarkable strength, perseverance, and determination. Through his unwavering commitment and hard work each day, he overcame the odds and achieved his ultimate goal of returning home. Al has regained his prior level of independence and is now able to safely return home. We are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and wish him continued health, happiness, and success in this next chapter!!

Talent?? We've got it!! Residents and staff showed off their talents this week with a Talent Show!! RCC residents with Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikinis, singing and dancing, jokes, a color guard rifle performance, piano performance, and even a Guess That Food Challenge. Laughs and fun were had by all!
