Today we’re giving a big shout-out to our team at Summit Achievement Center South for their summer team building initiative, the SAC South World Cup! This was a weeks-long effort to bring their staff together by competing in challenges as small groups using creativity, problem solving, and especially teamwork.

It was such a huge hit that their leadership is already looking forward to other group challenge opportunities this fall.

Congrats to the winning team, Sea Dragons United, and well done to everyone who helped organize the event—you all did a fabulous job!

Celebrating the people who make Summit what it is!

July and August brought so many milestones, and we’re especially grateful to celebrate some incredible long-term commitments. Tory is celebrating 15 years with Summit, and Gale and Laura are celebrating 11 years! These milestones represent more than time on the calendar—they reflect years of dedication, growth, relationships, and a lasting impact on the people and communities we serve.

To everyone celebrating an anniversary this summer, whether it’s your first or your fifteenth: thank you for being part of Summit. We’re so glad you’re here! 🎉

It is such a huge privilege to walk alongside students and support them as they reach their goals, gain confidence, and take steps toward a more independent adulthood. We couldn’t be more proud of these learners and our amazing team at Summit Achievement Center South for their dedication and compassionate teaching.

Back-to-school season is here, and Summit is ready to partner with Kansas City and Wichita-area schools!

We work alongside educators to provide on-campus BCBA leadership and skilled implementer support, helping create practical strategies that support individual learners and strengthen the classroom as a whole.

Our approach is simple: collaborate, build meaningful skills, reduce barriers, and help every learner move toward success.

Stacey packed the house in Sioux City, Iowa as she delivered another successful Bootcamp training!

This intensive 3-day course teaches the necessary skills for implementing evidence-based programs for students with autism and other developmental disorders. Some of the topics covered include the basic principles of ABA, error correction procedures, data collection, and how to teach students how to ask for what they need/want.

Friendly team building competitions at Summit Achievement Center South

Students have been learning valuable life skills and building both independence AND confidence!

We have celebrated multiple graduations and transitions as our learners head into new chapters 🎓🥳

We had our first company trip to CPKC stadium to cheer on the KC Current!

Spirit weeks made sure our ESY sessions stayed festive and fun

We celebrated the arrival of Jaden and Cristian’s baby girl with a Baby-que at Summit Achievement Center East—congrats to them on their exciting new chapter!

Our learners dug deep into topics like the human body and outer space, and got hands-on with plenty of experiments and projects.
