“Hi, I’m Laura Smith, a Certified Peer Support Specialist, QMHA, and Certified Recovery Mentor. I’m deeply passionate about helping individuals who are navigating mental health challenges and substance use recovery. This work is more than a career for me, it’s something I truly care about and feel called to do.

I grew up in southern Oregon, where I developed a strong appreciation for community and connection. I’m a wife and a mom to two wonderful daughters, which has shaped my understanding of patience, compassion, and the importance of creating safe, supportive environments.

In addition to my work in peer support, I also enjoy working with animals and have a passion for dog grooming. I find it incredibly rewarding and a great way to bring calm and care into both my life and the lives of others.”

Additionally, Laura has recently taken on an admin role at P2H and is now the voice you hear on the phone ☎️ From intakes, to scheduling, to care coordination & general questions - Laura is that gal 🌼

‼️ EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT ‼️

🔅Paislee Boyle
🔅CADC II, QMHA I
🔅SUD Program Manager/Supervisor

I currently have many roles at P2H involving the passion I have for helping individuals rebuild their lives through recovery, hope, and meaningful change. I believe in meeting clients where they are, building genuine connections, and creating a safe, judgment-free environment where people feel supported throughout their recovery journey.

I currently hold a bachelors degree in Applied Science (Psychology) & am months short of receiving a Masters in Psychology. With over 5 years of experience in this field, I am able to provide supervision, individual counseling, group facilitation, case management, and recovery support using evidence-based approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I believe that recovery is about more than sobriety. To me it’s about building confidence, healthy relationships, pursuing positive change, and creating a meaningful future.

I am especially passionate about working with individuals involved in the justice system, parents working toward reunification with their children, and those who have experienced trauma. I recognize that lasting recovery requires addressing the whole person and I am committed to helping clients develop the tools, resilience, and support needed to create lasting change.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside, traveling, and cheering on my son’s sports. It is such a blessing to be able to walk alongside my clients on their recovery journeys, and I remain committed to helping every individual discover that recovery is possible.

Everyone meet Charlie!

🔅Charlene (Charlie) Dobry
🔅Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
🔅Intern Supervisor

I hold a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology. I have five years of experience teaching parenting skills aimed to strengthen the parent-child bond in a program setting and four years of experience providing therapy to children. I have training and experience in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and use non-directive play therapy techniques to teach parents how to strengthen the bond with their children.

I hold a Graduate Certificate in Medical Family Therapy (MedFT), understanding how medical conditions impact the mental health of individuals and families. I also hold a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
I believe there is great strength in the relationships held within the family and therefore believe in helping individuals by working through their family systems. As a clinician and mother of three, I greatly value family and the parent-child relationship as this provides the foundation for all sequential relationships throughout an individual’s life. I work with children to help them to identify and understand their core emotions so they can communicate them appropriately. I love helping couples learn effective communications skills, identify and fulfil each other's love languages, and build shared meaning. My favorite client is the client who is ready to put in the work to reach their goals- no matter their age or background.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family- both outside in nature camping, picnicking, and fishing, as well as cuddled up inside our home for family movie and game nights. 👏

❤️🤍💙Side note : We hope everyone has a happy & safe 4th of July weekend with friends & family ❤️🤍💙

‼️EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT‼️
Hi friends, happy almost Friday!
Today I’m introducing Brenda Odesha!

🔅Brenda Odesha
🔅Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

I strive to provide a safe space for my clients for reflection while serving as a guide and facilitator for their own self-discovery and simultaneously working on life’s challenges and relationship struggles. I have a unique passion for working with children to guide them in processing the challenges they face in their own family dynamics as they travel through their own growth and development.
My approach is to integrate concepts in family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and elements of solution focused therapy; through a systemic and humanistic lens. In working with children, I implement art, play, sand tray, and other therapeutic interventions aimed at engaging children in the therapeutic process.
If you would like someone to help you and/or your child as you navigate some challenging situations or strengthen interpersonal relationships, feel free to contact me.
