Mental and spiritual wellbeing are often strengthened through small, consistent practices that help us reconnect with ourselves and others. 💙✨

Simple habits like practicing gratitude, nurturing relationships, engaging in meaningful experiences, and offering kindness can positively support emotional resilience and overall wellbeing.

Energy psychology adds another layer to self-care by offering body-based techniques that help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and support greater balance between mind, body, and spirit. Practices such as tapping, grounding, breathwork, and mindfulness can become powerful tools for daily regulation and restoration.

No matter where you are on your journey, small intentional actions can create meaningful shifts over time.

👇 Which of these practices helps you feel the most grounded or renewed?

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who have served our country.

And we also acknowledge something many veterans continue carrying long after service ends: the invisible wounds of trauma.

In a randomized controlled trial published in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, veterans receiving six 1-hour Clinical EFT sessions showed dramatic reductions in PTSD symptoms.

By the end of treatment, 86% of participants no longer met the clinical criteria for PTSD — with improvements largely maintained at follow-up months later.

Why does this matter?

Because trauma is not simply a memory stored in the mind.

It’s a stress response carried in the nervous system and body.

Clinical EFT combines evidence-based exposure techniques with somatic acu-point tapping to help the nervous system process traumatic stress more safely and effectively.

Healing is possible. And those who have served deserve access to tools that truly help them heal.

Please be careful using supposed intelligence systems. I just got an invitation to join a therapy dispensing outlet that diagnoses not based on education or learned degree, not based on contact, but by analyzing the feed and the conversation thread. This is superficial and very artificial. This means they are diagnosing based on supposition of the posted content. Guess what? That's not what they teach in grad school. And doing the work, I've learned so much beyond grad school. There is so much to be discovered to know what's really going on with humans by talking it out, and feeling it through. Somethings can present one way but underneath, something else is driving the bus and it's important to find the bus driver for a negotiation (for lack of a better term).

There are other things to consider as well. ch4t gpt is designed to learn you and figure out how to tell you what you want to hear. If you listen to the interviews with the tech bros ensconced in this, they don't care about people but they do like the idea of running the world. Peter with a TH**L stated knowing that they can't win and change governments via votes as they are too small but they can do so with technology and cryptocurrency. That leaves the door open to them programing the artificial intelligence to what they want you to consume.

Add to that the cost to the environment... look up some of the testimony of damage to farmland, pollution and scarcity of water, energy demands of the data centers.

I use the internet and apps, but I still keep a hard copy dictionary because sometimes that's the way to go. Just be careful please. The technology is here but not fully matured so safety is still a concern.

“You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate.” ✨ — Elizabeth Gilbert

Mindfulness and self-awareness invite us to notice our thoughts without becoming overwhelmed by them. Over time, intentional practices can help strengthen emotional regulation, increase resilience, and support healthier responses to stress.

Energy psychology approaches build on this connection between thoughts, emotions, and the body by offering practical tools that may help calm the nervous system, shift distress patterns, and support present-moment awareness.

🌿 Helpful reminders for self-care:
• Thoughts are not permanent or fixed
• Awareness creates space for choice
• Regulation practices can help reduce emotional intensity
• Small daily habits can support long-term wellbeing
• Mind-body approaches can complement existing therapeutic work

Supporting clients—and ourselves—in cultivating intentional awareness is an ongoing practice, not a perfection goal.
