Believing in house spirits means offering coffee on a Full Moon.
Why?
Well, for me, our home holds us, physically, energetically, it has been witness to the ups, the downs, and everything in between. It means greeting our home when I arrive, saying goodbye when I leave. My house has heard me sing off key, cry, and belly laugh.

The four walls hold our memories. Planting the gardens feels like decorating. So I tell my house what I'm up to as I'm dressing up the ground around it.

'Sharing' a cup of coffee with my home, feels like a conversation with an old friend.

I care about this space. Much like I care about how the studio feels when you arrive for a session.

Even if you don't feel like a house spirit is present, maybe say hello and thank you to the place that holds you. You'd be surprised how different it feels.

I was so happy to help repurpose this tree.

New life can happen anywhere

Here at the shop, we have built a beautiful relationship with the land spirits that dwell around us. Offerings are often left in gratitude, and many of the trees here have become beloved companions with names, personalities, and presence all their own.

The storms that rolled through this past week brought some heavy winds and left behind a casualty among them. Rather than letting that loss go unused, we chose to honor the tree and the life it lived by alchemizing its wood into something both practical and beautiful.

Now available at the shop are handcrafted herb drying racks made from this gifted wood. Each one carrying the spirit of transformation, resilience, and reverence for the land. These are not only functional tools for your herbs and apothecary work, but special vessels infused with story, intention, and care.

We highly recommend stopping in to see these vibrant pieces in person and bringing home a little bit of that magic for your own practice.
