As ExtraGive approaches on November 20th, MFE is looking to highlight programs that create a positive impact on our community! Today, our focus is on our Music For Everyone's Well Being initiative. Created to compliment the growing research that states that music can be an unparalleled tool in the healing of both the mind and body, our goal is to ensure Lancaster County has access to these tools. We provide grants to any organizations looking to utilize music as a form of healing, as well as constantly looking to add programs that help individuals who are in spaces that research has shown music can help. These include our Music For EveryVet, Health Rocks, and Music Memory Cafe programs. Support from our community ensures that we can continue to fund programs like this, and we are extremely grateful for the continued belief that what MFE does is something worth supporting!

Our Final Fresh Takes on Jazz concert of the year is only 2 weeks away! Featuring Ava Preston, a Jazz vocalist who is garnering worldwide recognition for her performances and compositions, we're greatly looking forward to hosting her at !

Today is the day of our Thank You Event! Come to at 6pm for the exhibition "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" accompanied by live music! It was a privilege to welcome to Lancaster to take photos of our students, we hope to see you at this event to see his and other photographers works celebrating the power of the arts!

ExtraGive is fast approaching! As we head into the closing portion of the year, MFE is grateful to once again be a part of one of the largest giving days in the world! This year, in just under a month, on November 20th, Lancaster is once again hosting ExtraGive. This day of giving focuses on bringing the community together and showing how much of an impact we can make when we think of ourselves as a group, instead of individuals. Last year, through the support of our wonderful community, we raised over $40,000 towards providing music education and community wellbeing resources. Thank you! We can't wait to see what this year's ExtraGive brings!

Music For Everyone would to thank Crane Authentication for their generous contribution to our MFE in the Schools program! This will help us offer our teachers to local school districts to aid their music teachers with their music classes, as well as our after school Sound Factory band and orchestra. Donations from our community and businesses are a large part of what allows us to continue running the programs we offer, and it's only through the support of people that believe in our missions that we are able to achieve everything we do!

Music For Everyone's upcoming Events this October!
On October 10th, Our very own instructor .jamanis is performing the debut of "Fits of Passion" with his trio in New York City at the DiMenna Center! The Performance Starts at 6:00PM!

That same day, our Ukulele Uprising Ensemble is taking part in the Gifts That Give Hope fair at the Lancaster Farm and Home Center! Be sure to do your gift shopping at a place where your shopping has a purpose!

October 11th and 18th are our final two bingos of the year (Weather Permitting) at Sickman's Mill, with Card sales starting at 11:30AM and calling beginning at Noon! Be sure to come out as you are able before we are done until the spring!

On October 22nd MFE is hosting Dan Henry, a New York Photographer who has taken pictures of MFE students and is presenting it at the Lancaster Art Vault amid live music and a cash bar! This exhibit begins at 6pm

We're looking forward to seeing you at some (or all!) of these events this month, and we're already excited to share with you our November Programming!
