Every step brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s! 💜👟

Cypress Palms showed up in purple for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer's Pinellas County at Poynter Park in St. Petersburg! 💜

After months of fundraising, teamwork and surpassing our $5,000 goal, it was incredible to come together with so many others who share the same mission – to help end Alzheimer’s.

The support did not stop in St. Petersburg. Back at Cypress Palms, residents and team members joined in with their own Walk for a Cure around The Palms of Largo campus!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, participated in our fundraisers, walked alongside us or cheered us on along the way. Every dollar raised and every step taken makes a difference. Until there is a cure, we will keep walking. 💜

🎉💙 Congratulations to our Team Member of the Month, Evelyn! 💙🎉

Evelyn has been part of the Cypress Palms family as a licensed practical nurse for four years. She is the kind of team member who is always willing to pick up a shift, lend a hand and be there when needed. She even joins in on the fun outside of work, most recently at our National Assisted Living Week Paint & Sip! ✨

When she is not at Cypress Palms, Evelyn loves traveling with her husband of 43 years. Together, they have four children, five grandchildren and a 60-pound pit bull terrier who is fully convinced he is a lap dog.

Her adventures have taken her from camping along the West Coast, from Seattle to California, all the way to Japan!

Evelyn, thank you for the heart, dedication and Platinum Service® you bring to Cypress Palms every day. We are so lucky to have you on our team! Congratulations, Evelyn! 🎉👏💙

⛳️💜 FORE a good cause!

Melissa W., Mary W., Tiffany R. and Jessica B. traded in their usual roles for golf clubs at the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer's Pinellas Golf Tournament! Golf experience? Absolutely not. 😂 Giving it their best shot? Absolutely! And when it is for a cause this important, that is what counts. 💜

A huge thank you to John K. with Oasis Senior Advisors Pinellas County, FL, for organizing such a great event. There were lots of laughs, a few questionable swings and an all-around great day supporting the fight to !

No one is quite ready for the PGA Tour, but it was putting for a purpose! And the support does not stop there! The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is this Saturday, and we would love to see everyone there supporting this important cause.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, families, team members and community partners, we officially surpassed our $5,000 fundraising goal and raised $5,130.95! 🎉💜

📸✨ Stop scrolling. The Cypress Palms red carpet photos have officially dropped!

Our Cypress stars certainly knew how to make an entrance! 🌟 Dressed to impress, residents stepped onto the red carpet while Green Pearl Photography captured the smiles, style and plenty of personality.

And what is a red carpet without a little commentary? Our Joan Rivers impersonator was there to greet our stars, ask the important questions and share a few laughs during their red carpet interviews. 🎤

Because every star deserves their moment, each resident also received a star on our Cypress Palms walk of fame! ⭐ It was quite the way to kick off National Assisted Living Week!

✨ A lifetime of shine! ✨

We wrapped up National Assisted Living Week by celebrating what makes each of our residents truly shine - the lives they have lived, the memories they have made and the legacies they continue to create. 💛

We were honored to welcome Trevor with The Living Legacy Project, who sat down with residents to capture their stories and create a special snapshot of their legacy to share with their families. 📖✨

Residents also created legacy bracelets, choosing charms that represented the people, places and things most meaningful to their lives. We ended the week with one final celebration, where each resident received a Lifetime Achievement Award! 🏆🥂

From Hollywood glamour and high-seas adventures to diamonds, starry nights and a lifetime of memories, this week was all about celebrating our residents and the many ways they continue to shine. ✨

Thank you to our residents, families, team members and everyone who helped make the week so memorable. The themes may change, and the week may be over, but our Cypress Palms stars never stop shining. 💛🌟
