Alcohol poisoning isn't something you can sleep off.

When someone drinks too much, it can be difficult to know whether they're simply intoxicated or experiencing a life-threatening emergency.

But certain warning signs should never be ignored:
Slow or irregular breathing
Vomiting while barely conscious
Difficulty waking up
Seizures
Pale, bluish, or cold skin

If you notice these symptoms, call 911 immediately. Never assume someone will simply sleep it off.

Meet Lance, the second half of our incredible twin brothers, Jeff and Lance!

When his twin brother Jeff called him to California, Lance answered. He walked through the doors of Wish Recovery, and let’s just say Fran wasn’t about to let him give up on himself! 😂💪

Today, Lance has completed treatment, is managing a sober living home, and works in fire prevention here in California. From fighting his own battles to helping protect others and giving back to the recovery community. ❤️
