It is okay to feel upset or overwhelmed by recent reports of sexual violence on campus. If the news is feeling heavy this week, know that you are not alone, and we are here to support you.
UHS Survivor Services offers free, confidential support, including advocacy, trauma-informed counseling, medical care, and help navigating reporting and accommodation options. We are here to support you in knowing your rights and options and will support you in making the choices that are right for you.
These services are available to students of all genders, regardless of whether alcohol or drugs were involved and do not require making a report to the university or law enforcement. Students can connect with a confidential advocate by scheduling via MyUHS or calling 608-265-5600, Option 3.

A purple chair with a purpose💜

We are proud to partner with The Wisconsin Union for this year’s limited-edition mini terrace chair. This year, we combined the iconic badger symbol with a critical campus mission: ending violence and supporting student survivors.

A portion of every chair purchased will be donated to the Survivor Empowerment Fund, which provides financial assistance for expenses directly related to a survivor's victimization. Support has helped students relocate to safer housing, replace damaged textbooks, cover the medical and dental costs of injuries, install home security systems, and secure transportation to court hearings.
