August Resident birthdays celebrated to a watermelon theme and the always spirit lifting song and music with the Gospel Strings- always one of Dudneywood’s favorites. Happy Birthday to Susie Gilmore, Kathy Toombs, and Lois Alexander! Love you all sweet ladies! Thank you Verta Flowers for our lunch watermelon pie. Special appreciation to Mandy Johnson, Dudneywood CNA- baker and designer extraordinaire for the watermelon pig sculpture, fruit carvings, and cupcake creations. Watermelon cool- aid topped off the thirst. End of summer coming. Already working on Fall fun and cooler weathers. Happy Birthday to Billy Joel prodigy, Jon Stone for his big 13th birthday. He brought bright light and talent to Dudneywood Residents on their July birthday party. He not only has talent, but confidence, showmanship and a BIG heart. He has a future that we hope he will continue to share with us as he pursues his education at Columbia County Christian School. Thank you Jon and bless you on a milestone you have accomplished at a young age!!! You have a promising future and talent!!!!!

Billy Joel’s shadow, 13 year old John Stone, sang his heart out for Dudneywood Residents today with his piano teacher, Dr. Beth Ann Rankin, grandparents and parents in attendance. Proud day!
