🎉❤️💚🖤 Today we celebrated both Juneteenth and Father's Day in a truly special way! ❤️💚🖤🎉

We started the day honoring Juneteenth with a delicious lunch and a powerful inspiring speech from our very own Cherish, followed by some fun and engaging trivia that brought everyone together in celebration and reflection.

As the morning continued, the spotlight shifted to our amazing fathers and father figures! 💈✨ A mobile barber stopped by to make sure all the fellas were looking extra sharp and feeling their best. From fresh cuts to big smiles, it was the
perfect way to kick off our Father's Day festivities.

We then gathered for a delicious barbecue 🍔🌭 and enjoyed an incredible car cruise 🚗🔥 filled with classic rides, great conversations, and plenty of memories made along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a meaningful celebration of freedom, family, community, and fatherhood. ❤️🙌

Today reminded us that despite our differences, we are stronger together than we are apart. Unity, understanding, and love will always bring us further than division ever could. ❤️🤝✨

💜🫧 Bubbles for Hope 🫧💜

What a wonderful afternoon spent together during our Bubbles for Hope event in honor of Alzheimer's Awareness Month.

Residents and team members gathered in the courtyard to fill the air with bubbles, laughter, and support while raising awareness for a cause that touches so many lives. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength, compassion, and connection that exists within our community.

We also enjoyed delicious ice cream cones in the courtyard, making the day even sweeter as everyone spent time together and enjoyed the sunshine. 🍦☀️

With all the excitement surrounding our 4th of July Celebration, I must admit there was an error on the day listed.

The correct date is Saturday, June 27th.

💜✨ Roll & Shine Wheelchair/Walker Wash Day!

As we continue to recognize Alzheimer’s Month, our amazing team spent the day giving our residents' wheelchairs a little extra TLC during our Roll & Shine Wheelchair Wash!

Our staff worked hard to clean, polish, and freshen up wheelchairs, helping ensure our residents stay comfortable while adding a little extra shine to their day. Sometimes the smallest acts of care make the biggest difference.

A special forever-grateful shoutout to Erin for always showing up, stepping in, and supporting the GV family 💜

To help us make comfortable seating arrangements for everyone, we ask that each family designate one person to call or stop by the front desk to RSVP.
