Dr. Baidwan is one of the OGs here at Craig Ranch Obgyn. She joined the practice in 2012.

Dr Baidwan was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She majored in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin. After graduation in 2003, she went onto medical school at Texas Tech University in 2004, where she also met the love of her life. He was also a medical student and they moved all over Texas together for medical school, then residency. Dr Baidwan resided in El Paso for 2 years and that’s where she discovered her love for Obstetrics and Gynecology.

As a 3rd year medical student on her first day on rotation, a wonderful midwife allowed her to attend the birth of a couples’ 5th child and she was hooked. After 2 years in El Paso, she matched at UT Southwestern and completed a 4 year residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

She has 3 wonderful daughters and 2 large breed dogs. She states “My love for caring for the women in our community has grown over the years as I see how important our job is to champion for the underrepresented and often less seen gender."
