π June is National Men's Health Month π
When it comes to health, many men are quick to push through discomfort, ignore symptoms, or assume certain issues are "just part of getting older." But some symptoms shouldn't be ignoredβespecially when they may be related to pelvic health.
Did you know that men have a pelvic floor, too?
Pelvic floor dysfunction can contribute to:
β Urinary leakage or urgency
β Overactive bladder symptoms
β Testicular, pe**le, or pelvic pain
β Erectile dysfunction
β Re**al pain
β Recovery challenges before or after prostate surgery
The good news? Pelvic health physical therapy can help. Through education, breathing strategies, exercise, coordination training, and individualized treatment, men can improve bladder and bowel control, reduce pain, and restore confidence in daily activities.
This National Men's Health Month, take the opportunity to prioritize your health, ask questions, and seek support if you're experiencing symptoms. You don't have to live with pain, leakage, or discomfort.
Your health matters. Your quality of life matters. And help is available.
