Breast implants aren’t lifetime devices, and just like anything else in your body, they age over time.
While every patient is different, around the 10 to 15 year mark is a good time to have your implants evaluated and discuss whether replacement or revision may be appropriate.
That doesn’t mean every implant needs to be automatically replaced at 10 years. It means staying proactive, monitoring your implants, and keeping up with your surgeon so you can catch potential issues early.
