Congratulations to Our July Healthy Heroes! 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing families who participated in our very first Healthy Hero Challenge – Eat the Rainbow! 🍎🥦🍓

We loved seeing all of your colorful creations and healthy choices. It was wonderful to see children getting excited about eating fruits and vegetables!

💙 Because this was our very first Healthy Hero Challenge, every child who participated will receive a Healthy Hero prize! 🎉

📩 We will be reaching out to each participating family with information on how to pick up your child's prize.

⭐ We'd also love to recognize our Healthy Heroes! With your permission, we'd love to feature your child's first name and photo on our new Healthy Hero Wall at Aquidneck Pediatrics to celebrate their healthy choices and inspire other children.

📱 Having trouble posting your photo? No problem! **You can text your photo to our office, and we'll make sure it's entered into the challenge.**

🌈 July Healthy Hero Challenge is HERE! 🌈

Aquidneck Pediatrics is excited to kick off our very first Healthy Hero Challenge!

🍎 July Challenge: Eat the Rainbow!

This month, we challenge our families to eat as many different colored fruits and vegetables as they can! Every color gives your body different vitamins and nutrients to help you grow strong and stay healthy.

❤️ Red – Strawberries, tomatoes, watermelon
🧡 Orange – Carrots, oranges, sweet potatoes
💛 Yellow – Bananas, corn, pineapple
💚 Green – Broccoli, cucumbers, spinach, kiwi
💙💜 Blue & Purple – Blueberries, grapes, blackberries

📸 We'd love to see your colorful plates! Share a photo in the comments or tell us about your favorite healthy snack.

🏥 Have an appointment at Aquidneck Pediatrics this month? Feel free to bring in your colorful creations (or a photo of them)! We'd love to see them, and your child will be entered into our Healthy Hero Challenge drawing as well!

🌞 Volunteers Needed for Our Get Moving Summer Carnival! 🎪

This Saturday, we're hosting our FREE Get Moving Summer Carnival for local families, and we're looking for a few more volunteers to help make the day extra special for the kids.

Volunteer opportunities include:
🎯 Helping at game stations
🎟️ Assisting with passports and raffles
🏃 Supporting activity stations
😊 Greeting families and helping where needed

This is a great opportunity for high school students looking for community service hours, college students, local organizations, or anyone who enjoys working with children and giving back to the community.

The event runs from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM, and even a few hours of your time would make a huge difference.

🎪 COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED! 🎪

Get Moving with an Island View @ Aquidneck Pediatrics is looking to borrow a few Easy-Up tents for our FREE Summer Carnival on June 13th.

This event is open to local children and families and will feature games, activities, prizes, and opportunities to get active and have fun together.

If you have a 10x10 Easy-Up tent that we could borrow for the day, we would be incredibly grateful. We will take great care of it and return it promptly after the event.

🎪 HELP NEEDED FOR OUR GET MOVING SUMMER CARNIVAL! 🎪

Friends, family, students, and community members — I could really use your help!

Our FREE Get Moving Summer Carnival is coming up on **Saturday, June 13th from 11 AM–2 PM** at Aquidneck Pediatrics, and right now I only have **2 volunteers signed up**.

This event is all about getting kids active, having fun, and creating healthy memories with their families. We have games, activities, prizes, music, and lots of smiles planned, but I can't do it alone.

✅ Great opportunity for high school students needing community service hours
✅ Perfect for anyone who enjoys working with kids
✅ Flexible volunteer roles available
✅ Help make a positive impact in our community

Even if you can only spare a couple of hours, it would make a huge difference.
