CNI has been providing neurosurgical services for over 50 years and has offices in both Mobile and Baldwin counties. CNI’s surgeons are among a small group in the country who have been expertly trained to perform specialized neurosurgical procedures. Hecker, Charles S. Markle, Ozgur Oztas, Thomas E. Foster, and Andrew Manley, CNI, is the only Neuroscience Center in the area. The CNI basic philosophy is to provide the highest quality prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of conditions and diseases affecting the neuromuscular and skeletal systems for the communities we have the privilege to serve. Our multispecialty team of highly skilled surgeons, neurologists, physician assistants and office staff are dedicated to providing you and your patients with the most comprehensive and effective care available.

Dear Valued Coastal Neurological Institute Patient:
We regretfully write to inform you that Coastal Neurological Institute
will close effective December 31, 2026.
We sincerely appreciate the trust you have placed in our practice and are
grateful for the opportunity to have provided neurological care to you and
your family.
Dr. Flotte will continue to provide excellent neurosurgical care in Mobile
and Baldwin counties under Coastal Neurosurgery PLLC. He will
perform surgeries at Springhill Medical Center, Mobile Infirmary,
Thomas Hospital and Daphne Surgery Center. He will be available
through our current phone number 251-450-3700 and the website
whycni.com.
We are pleased to let you know that Drs. Elliott Foster, Timothy Hecker,
Andrew Manley, Scott Markle, and Ozgur Oztas will be relocating to
Alabama Medical Group, P.C.
We look forward to continuing to provide quality care to patients at our
new practice beginning January 1, 2027. To schedule an appointment or
obtain additional information, please contact the new office at (251) 414-
5900 or visit the website, www.alabamamedicalgroup.com. Please be
aware, we will continue to provide care in both Mobile and on the
Eastern Shore.

If you have upcoming appointments, prescription needs, referrals, or
other questions related to your care during this transition, please contact
our office at (251) 450-3700 before the closing date. We will be happy to
assist you with the transition and medical records process.
Please note, if you are planning to continue care at Alabama Medical
Group, P.C. your medical records will be transferred for you.
