We recently installed Dr. Jim Stallworth’s portrait on our Physician Portrait Wall, a space dedicated to honoring the physicians who have faithfully served the community over the years. Each portrait displayed represents not only a career in medicine, but a lasting impact on the lives of countless patients and families.
Dr. James "Jim" Allen Stallworth was a lifelong servant to the Monroeville community and his legacy in medicine and family life continues to be felt across generations. A native of Monroeville, Dr. Stallworth devoted his career to caring for patients in the very community where he was raised, building lasting relationships with families he served for decades.
The Physician Portrait Wall, located in the front lobby, serves as a tribute to those who devoted their lives to caring for others. Though these physicians are no longer with us, their legacy remains deeply rooted in the hospital and the community they served so faithfully.
We invite patients, families, and community members to visit the portrait wall and reflect on the individuals who helped build the foundation of local healthcare.
“These physicians were more than healthcare providers—they were trusted neighbors, leaders, and advocates for our community,” said Dr. David Stallworth. “Their contributions continue to influence the standard of care we strive to provide every day.”
