ry systems in the nation. Mary’s Hospital – Centralia along with SSM Health Medical Group which includes primary and specialty care physicians. The Hospitals are operated in partnership with the Felician Sisters. The hospitals have received multiple awards for safety, quality and customer service. Good Samaritan Hospital is a 134-bed hospital with the only inpatient rehab program in the region, has one robot for minimally invasive surgery and a comprehensive neurosciences program. Mary’s Hospital is a 113-bed hospital specializing in behavioral health, bariatric surgery, wound/hyperbarics, and cancer treatments. In 2015, the hospitals launched a new pediatric emergency and NICU telemedicine program in conjunction with the physicians at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital of St. SSM Health Medical Group offers primary and specialty care physicians in multiple locations throughout southern Illinois. Extended hours and seven days-a-week elk-in care services are available at Express Clinic sites in Centralia and Mt. 🌼 Sometimes the smallest moments of care make the biggest impact.

A recent Daisy Award nomination shares how Kalynn, an RN on 4200 at Good Samaritan Hospital went above and beyond to advocate for a patient, check in consistently, and even stepped in to clean and refresh their room when help was delayed.

“She has been amazing. Nurse Kalynn advocated for me when no one else would. She has took time out of her day multiple times to come check on me and see how I was feeling. Kalynn is a rare person and needs to be praised.”
