Last week, our graduate Speech-Language Pathology students completed their final week of summer clinic! Students led groups at the WATCH Center with adults with intellectual disabilities and facilitated a literacy group for children in grades K–3.

These experiences provided valuable opportunities to build clinical skills while making meaningful connections in our community.

Congratulations to all of our graduate clinicians on a successful semester!

Flexibility is basically in the job description for our graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology 💁‍♀️🗣️

From adjusting therapy approaches to navigating ever-changing schedules, our students are mastering the art of “going with the flow”—especially when a power outage left our literacy group to cancel.

To keep summer clinic rolling, the literacy group joined our WATCH group this morning. Observing, learning, adapting… and maybe laughing a little along the way 😂📚

We’re so proud of our future SLPs for bending (not breaking!) as they grow into compassionate, skilled clinicians 💖
