We will be closed on Wednesday to take a day to gather, enjoy some good food, play a few games, and spend time together at our annual summer employee party.

We believe taking time to connect as a team is an important part of building a strong company and a great place to work. We’re sorry if we miss you while we’re away, and we’ll be back to our regular hours on Thursday.

Today we remember Sharon Bradley, a talented artist who worked at Swensen Memorials and also created hand-etched memorial artwork for Swensen & Superior Monument.
Sharon enjoyed working with families to help create meaningful memorials. She also had a remarkable artistic talent. When a family wanted a custom hand-etched scene— a beloved dog, a classic car, a northern Michigan landscape, or another special memory—Sharon would carefully sketch the design by hand. Once approved, she would engrave it directly into polished black granite, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that became part of a lasting memorial.
Her deer scenes were especially memorable, and her hand-etched work had a warmth and character that only a true artist could achieve. Those who had the privilege of working with Sharon knew she was not only incredibly talented, but also a joy to work alongside.
We are grateful for the artistry she shared, the memorials she helped create, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind. Her work will continue to preserve stories and memories for generations to come.
Thank you, Sharon. You will be remembered. And our deepest sympathies go out to Tom, and all family and friends
