Through the American College of Surgeons, SESAP (Self-Assessment in Surgery) helps make that possible—keeping surgeons current so they can provide the safest, highest-quality care to their patients.

Not every breast change is cancer. đź’—

Many breast conditions are benign (non-cancerous), but they still deserve attention and proper evaluation.

Common non-cancerous breast conditions may include:
• Cysts (fluid-filled sacs)
• Fibroadenomas (solid, non-cancerous lumps)
• Breast pain or tenderness
• Changes related to hormones

Even though these conditions are not cancer, it’s important to never ignore changes in your breast health.

Early evaluation brings peace of mind and ensures you get the care you need.
