Dr. Wallace attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Affinity Medical Center. He completed an orthopaedic sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at Beacon Orthopaedic and Research Education Foundation in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has worked extensively with athletes at the high school, college, and professional level including Kings Mills high school, Wittenberg University, and the Cincinnati Reds major league baseball team, along with other local high schools and colleges in the Cincinnati area. He works with the athletes, assuring their quick and safe return to sport. His interests in orthopaedics include: the arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow and knee as well as general orthopaedic care. He also has extensive training in joint reconstruction and fracture care. Outside of his practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys golf, fishing and outdoor fitness activities.

🦴 WHAT’S HIDING IN YOUR KNEE?! 👀

Sometimes knee pain isn’t just “wear and tear.”

Dr. Brian Wallace recently performed a knee arthroscopy and removed multiple LARGE loose bodies floating inside the joint. 😳

Think of loose bodies like pebbles inside a hinge — they can move around the knee and may cause:

🦵 Catching or locking
⚡ Sudden sharp pain
🎈 Swelling
🚫 Loss of motion
😖 That frustrating feeling that “something is stuck”

Using minimally invasive arthroscopy, Dr. Wallace was able to enter the knee through small incisions, locate the loose bodies, and remove them.

For this patient, the answer was a BIG YES. 💪

One year after his reverse total shoulder replacement, he was back offshore and hauled in this massive mahi-mahi. 🔥🐟

And the one that got away from the camera?

👉 A 400+ lb MARLIN! 👀🎣

📚 Choi et al. studied return to fishing after reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, looking specifically at whether patients were able to get back to the sport they love.

🏈 FOOTBALL IS BACK!!! 🏈

And apparently the biggest rivalry this NFL season isn’t happening on the field…

It’s happening in the OR. 😂

🔵 His PA: New York Giants 🗽

They may agree on the surgical plan…
They may agree on the rehab protocol…
But on Sundays? Absolutely nothing is agreed upon. 😂

With the NFL season kicking off, the trash talk has officially begun.
