Please join us in welcoming Dr. Alicia B. Batson and Dr. Efemena Diejomaoh to our psychiatry practice at Meharry.

Dr. Batson specializes in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders. Dr. Diejomaoh recently completed the adult psychiatry residency at Meharry, and his clinical and research interests include mental health disorders, substance use disorders, chronic pain, minority health, and global health.

Our first Women’s Health Town Hall brought together Meharry Medical Group and Nashville General Hospital physicians and health care leaders for an engaging panel discussion about the future of women’s health care.

As we work together to reshape women’s health care, we want to hear directly from women in the community about what they need, what they value and how they want to receive care.

Watch the first Women’s Health Town Hall hosted by Meharry Medical Group and Nashville General Hospital.

Physicians and health care leaders came together to discuss the future of women’s health care and hear directly from women in the community about what they need, what they value and how they want to receive care.

This is the first of three conversations designed to help inform how we reshape women’s health care at Meharry and Nashville General Hospital.

Meharry Medical College and Nashville General Hospital are working together to reshape women’s health care in Middle Tennessee — and we want to hear directly from the women we serve.

We’re hosting three Women’s Health Town Halls to give women an opportunity to share what they want and need from their health care providers. Come meet physicians and health care leaders, learn more about women’s health services and, most importantly, make your voice heard.

The first town hall is THIS SATURDAY, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cal Turner Family Center, 2nd Floor Ballroom.

Additional town halls will be held:
Thursday, Sept. 10 | 5–7 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 22 | 5–7 p.m.

The events are free and open to the public, ages 18 and older.
