Forced by the hospital staff to lay completely still for 10 whole minutes during transition, the most intense phase of the birthing process, I thought I was going to die. The waves of pain crashing over me, swallowing me into the depths.

My sweet grandmothers’ presence, shocked me & comforted me in my greatest time of need. No words were spoken. Their lips never moved, yet everything was said. Their reassurance of my safety and the immense love for me was felt in my heart. I knew I would make it through. 💪
