There comes a point every spring when your tote bag starts feeling heavier than your workload.

Assessment kits. Testing binders. Flashcards. Games. Materials for one school, then another, then another.

For so many school-based clinicians, the job doesn’t just travel with you. It weighs you down.

Imagine having access to 60+ digitized publisher assessments and more than 10,000 therapy activities, all in one place and ready when you need them. No hauling materials between campuses. No digging through binders. No extra baggage.

At Presence, we’re helping clinicians spend less time carrying supplies and more time focusing on what matters most: supporting students.

If you’re exploring teletherapy opportunities for the next school year, we’d love to show you what’s possible.

Conversations about mental health don't just happen in the therapy room or classroom. They continue at home.

For school psychologists, counselors, social workers, SLPs, OTs, and educators, supporting student well-being often includes helping families recognize when a child may be struggling and providing resources that make those conversations a little easier.

Behavioral changes such as withdrawal, sleep difficulties, self-neglect, increased irritability, anxiety, or persistent negativity can sometimes be signs that a child is experiencing emotional challenges and may need additional support.

This guide was created to help parents and caregivers better understand the signs of emotional distress, start meaningful conversations about mental health, and create safe, supportive spaces where children feel heard and understood.

If you're looking for resources to share with families in your school community, we hope you'll pass this one along.

Every June, searches for “What is ESY for special education?” and “Eligibility for ESY 2026” start trending as families prepare for summer and try to better understand their child’s services.

Extended School Year (ESY) services are designed to support students who may experience significant regression during school breaks and need continued special education support beyond the traditional school year.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that ESY is simply summer school. In reality, ESY eligibility is determined individually through the IEP process and is based on a student’s unique needs, progress, and ability to maintain critical skills.

For school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, and special education teams, this time of year often comes with important conversations with families who are looking for clarity, support, and guidance.

If you’re navigating ESY season right now, you’re definitely not alone 🤍

One of the best parts of remote work is getting the chance to connect with people you normally only see through a screen. 💙

This week our company leaders campe together for a co-working week. It was such a fun reminder that even though we work remotely, the relationships we build are very real. There’s just something different about getting together in person, catching up, laughing, and spending time outside of meetings and digital messages.

The work we do starts with connection, and that doesn’t just apply to the students and schools we support. It matters for our team, too. Really grateful for moments like these and for the people behind the screens every day. ✨

Worksheets get a bad rap… I love a good worksheet to offer a stimulus, framework, or launchpad for a more interactive session. How are you using worksheets in therapy?
