You can lose up to 30% of your collagen in the first five years after menopause. That number still surprises women, including patients who thought they were doing everything right.

What most skincare routines aren’t designed for is the pace of that change. The barrier weakens, collagen production slows, and the skin’s ability to repair itself shifts all at the same time. A routine built for your 30s won’t carry you through that transition. The earlier you build a program with that biology in mind, the more you have to work with when it matters most.

The goal of every injection I do is for you to leave looking like yourself, just better rested, more balanced, and more confident. The product and treatment should otherwise be invisible.

Neuromodulators, fillers, and treatments, when used correctly, don’t freeze the face or totally erase expression. Instead, when done appropriately, they preserve movement while allowing the muscles pulling downwards to relax, allowing lifting muscles to strenghten, and helping you to age gracefully over time.
Filler, done carefully and precisely doesn’t add volume, it restores the structure that supports your face, and keeps it in balance as it changes. The goal is to help you look and feel your best at every age.
Starting young, doesn’t have a number, for some it could be in their 20’s, for others it’s in their 40’s or 50’s. It depends on your genetics and your lifestyle choices.

Are you guilty of any of these?!

So many things we don’t think of as “skin issues” show up directly on our skin. Seasonal allergies are a perfect example. The itching, the rubbing, the inflammation, the mouth breathing, all of it creates dark circles. Your skin is a reflection of everything happening internally and environmentally, so it’s important to treat the cause, not just what you see in the mirror.

After thirty years in dermatology, one of the most important things I’ve learned has nothing to do with a product or a procedure.

It’s easy to stand in front of a mirror and go straight to everything you think is making you look wrinkled or older, but when you do that, you miss the beauty that’s actually there.

I challenge you to stand in front of a miror right now and point out all of the beautiful features you have. ❤️

When women come to me wanting fuller lips, I often end up treating everywhere else, before injecting the lips themselves, and they leave looking authentic, youthful, rejuvenated and beautiful!

Filling the lip without addressing what’s driving the changes your face experiences as you age is what leads to results that look off... lips that protrude, don’t fit the face, and don’t look like you. If you restore the foundation first the lips often fall back into balance on their own.

What I stopped eating for better skin…

🍞 Bread at restaurants (pure sugar + starch = inflammation)
🍫 Refined sugar
🍸 99% of alcohol (an occasional tequila is my exception 😉)

Have you noticed certain foods affect your skin?

Marketing is powerful, and I see this all the time with “for men” skincare. While I applaud getting men more involved in skin care, often it’s simply packaging changes, name changes, and the price often goes up, but when you look at the ingredients, many of these products are nearly identical to what’s already on the shelf.

Good skincare comes down to formulation and function, not branding. If the ingredients support hydration, barrier repair, and overall skin health, it doesn’t matter who it’s marketed to. Focus on what’s in the product, not how it’s labeled, and you’ll often get the same results without paying a premium.

Picking at a breakout feels like you’re helping in the moment, but it almost always makes things worse. When you disrupt the skin like that, you increase inflammation, increase the risk of scarring, and increase the risk of repeat breakouts in the same spot. Acne responds best to early, consistent treatment that reaches into the pores and supports healthy skin turnover.
