Founded as a 55-bed nursing home, Chandler Hall now offers a broad spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process. Music, memories, and lots of fun!
Yesterday, our Memory Care residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music, thanks to our longtime volunteer, Todd. Todd shared his musical talents with us, playing classic sing-along tunes and Broadway favorites. Before long, everyone was singing along, tapping their toes, and enjoying the moment. We are so grateful to Todd for sharing his time and talent with our residents. Thank you, Todd, for bringing so much music and joy to Chandler Hall!

Soaking up the last days of summer
Last Friday, our Personal Care residents enjoyed the beautiful weather from the porch while cooling off with some delicious Push Pops. It was the perfect way to savor a little more summer together. We also played a fun “getting to know you” game—and discovered something pretty amazing: most of our residents have ridden a horse at least once in their lifetime.

Yesterday, our Memory Care residents enjoyed a scenic ride around beautiful Peddler’s Village. Along the way, they got to see the new scarecrows on display for this year’s scarecrow contest. From whimsical to wonderfully creative, every entry was a treat to see.

There’s something special about getting out, enjoying the changing seasons, and taking in all that scenic Bucks County has to offer. Just another wonderful day making memories together.

A Little Baking, A Lot of Teamwork!
Our Personal Care residents got into the baking spirit today, led by Caroline, as they combined their baking knowledge to create a delicious chocolate dump cake made with real chocolate chips. Pat, Josie, Eva, and Edith worked together to combine all the ingredients and give everything a good stir. Helen took charge of transferring the batter into the Bundt pan, and then came the hardest part… patiently waiting for the oven.

Soon, the delicious results were ready—and they looked and smelled amazing! Later, everyone gathered together to sample their tasty creation. Walt and Joe gave it a big thumbs up. There’s nothing quite like the joy of creating something together… especially when there’s chocolate involved.

Welcoming Back Our Martha Washington Garden Club Volunteers!
We were so happy to welcome our wonderful Martha Washington Garden Club volunteers back for their fall season. Our residents enjoyed a lovely morning creating beautiful flower arrangements with the volunteers and sharing their love of gardening. They also spent some time out on the deck talking about the changing seasons and enjoying the first signs of fall. We’re so grateful to our Garden Club volunteers for sharing their time, talents, and friendship with our Chandler Hall family. We’re so glad you’re back!

Happy Labor Day from Chandler Hall!
We hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing Labor Day. Our residents and staff enjoyed a wonderful holiday lunch prepared by Chef Terence and our talented Culinary Team. Everything was absolutely delicious! We’re grateful for the team members who work so hard each day to make Chandler Hall a special place to live, work, and call home.
