Meet Isabel — One of the Hearts of Bio Dental 💜

For almost 17 years, Isabel has been an essential part of the Bio Dental family.

As our dental assistant, Isabel plays a key role in biological surgery coordination, patient communication, and keeping countless details behind the scenes running smoothly. And after nearly 17 years with us, there’s a reason we joke that Isabel knows everything in the office!

But what makes Isabel truly special goes far beyond dentistry.

Every day, she reminds us what it means to serve—not only our patients, but also our families, our team, and our community. Her experience, dedication, and willingness to help are things we continue to learn from.

Some people have a job.

🦷 Every Tuesday We Heal

After John’s last surgery, his wife told us something unexpected:

“He’s sleeping so much better.”

Was better sleep our goal? No.

Our goal was to remove a chronically infected tooth and support the body’s natural healing. But when the body no longer has to fight chronic infection, it may function more efficiently.

Will everyone experience this? Not necessarily. Sleep depends on many factors, but reducing one source of inflammation can make a difference.

Every symptom has a story. Our job is to help find it.

Before you blame your sleep… check your habits.

Your brain relies on cues from your environment to know when it’s time to sleep.

Here are 5 simple ways to support better sleep:

✅Avoid blue light from phones and computers before bed.
✅ Keep the same bedtime and wake-up time every day.
✅ Skip long or late-day naps if you’re struggling to sleep.
✅ Make your bedroom as dark as possible.
✅ Keep your room cool.

These are simple changes, but they send powerful signals to your body that it’s time to rest.

If you’ve already tried all of these and you’re still waking up tired, waking during the night, or just don’t feel rested, there may be a deeper reason. Nutrient deficiencies, airway problems, inflammation, hormones, or other health factors can all affect sleep quality.

Your body leaves clues. The key is knowing how to read them.

Today, we’d love to introduce you to Denise, one of the friendly faces who welcomes you to Bio Dental.

Since joining our team in 2023, Denise has brought warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for getting to know every patient who walks through our doors. She believes that every conversation matters, and her caring personality helps make patients feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

Outside the office, Denise has been happily married to her husband, John, for nearly 40 years. She’s a proud mom, grandmother, devoted animal lover, and serves as a deacon at her church always looking for ways to care for others, whether it’s people or animals.

Her kindness isn’t just part of her job, it’s who she is!
