Motherhood didn’t just change my life.
It changed the way I see the body.
My pregnancies and birth experiences with both of my girls taught me things I don’t think I could have fully learned from a textbook, a seminar, or even years in practice.
They taught me how much the body remembers.
How deeply the nervous system participates in pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and healing.
How much support matters when a woman is becoming a mother.
And how different each pregnancy, birth, baby, and season can be.
My girls made me a mother.
And in so many ways, they also made me a better practitioner.
Because now, when I sit with women in pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, or any season of deep change, I don’t just see symptoms.
I see a woman becoming.
I see a nervous system adapting.
I see a body asking to be supported, listened to, and honored.
This Mother’s Day, I’m grateful for the two little girls who continue to teach me about love, surrender, resilience, intuition, and the sacred work of caring for women and families. 🌿🫶🏼
Happy Mother’s Day.
