Today, we’re proud to celebrate OKFDA member funeral home Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home & Crematory and an incredible 56 years of serving families in Enid, Oklahoma, and beyond!

Milestones like this are special to us because they represent so much of what OKFDA is all about. Our Association is made stronger by funeral homes and funeral service professionals who have dedicated their careers—and in many cases, generations—to caring for Oklahoma families and communities.

For 56 years, Ladusau-Evans has built relationships, earned the trust of families, and provided compassionate, professional care when it matters most. We are incredibly proud to have them as part of OKFDA.

As we close the 2026 Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association Professional Women's Conference, our hearts are full of gratitude for an incredible few days of learning, fellowship, and inspiration.

We kicked off the conference with Amanda King's engaging session, "The Value of Viewing," and concluded with an inspiring and thought-provoking "Women in Funeral Service: Leadership, Legacy, Lived Experience" group discussion led by Glenda Stansbury. From beginning to end, each session challenged us to grow, lead with purpose, and continue serving our families and communities with excellence.

A sincere thank you to every attendee for investing in yourselves, your profession, and one another. Your enthusiasm, participation, and willingness to share your experiences made this conference truly special.

The Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association was deeply honored to have the 2026 OKFDA Professional Women's Conference recognized with an Official Citation from Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt.

Today, our attendees were challenged, encouraged, and empowered by an outstanding lineup of presenters. A heartfelt thank you to Kara Ludlum, Melanie Carr, PhD, Barbara Kemmis, Glenda Stansbury, and Brianne Niedermyer for sharing your expertise, passion, and dedication to advancing funeral service. Your knowledge and leadership are making a lasting impact on the incredible women gathered here.

From meaningful conversations to practical takeaways and new friendships, today was a powerful reminder of the strength and support found within our profession.
