⛳ The Morning Pointe Foundation returned to the top of Lookout Mountain, ready to beat the heat and take on one of the area’s most challenging courses!

The 11th Annual Mastering Memory Care Golf Tournament brought golfers back to the picturesque setting of The Lookout Mountain Club for a day of friendly competition, team building, and a great game of golf, raising a record-breaking $94,000+ for the mission of the Morning Pointe Foundation. 💚

Proceeds raised help provide scholarships through Foundation partner schools across the Southeast for students pursuing careers in nursing, culinary arts, therapy, and social work, while also supporting free caregiver education for families.

After a morning on the course alongside Morning Pointe Senior Living's co-founders Greg Vital and Franklin Farrow, golfers came together for a special program and heard from Dr. John Squires with Cleveland State Community College, one of the Morning Pointe Foundation’s partner schools, about the impact scholarships are having on students preparing for careers in healthcare. 🏆

National Assisted Living Week, September 13-19, is one of the highlights of our year because it's all about celebrating the people who make our communities so special. This year's theme, "Shining Through the Years," gives us the chance to look back on the decades our residents have experienced, celebrate the lives they've built, and enjoy a week filled with fun, connection, and shared stories.

The celebration kicked off with National Grandparents Day and will continue all week with special activities and events inspired by the decades our residents have lived through while honoring everything that makes assisted living such a vibrant place to call home.

🍂🧡 Fall is finding its way to the Lantern!

Our residents are getting the community ready for the season, with a little help from Kendall and Stephanie. Together, they created beautiful fall wreaths for the doors, but the best part was seeing each resident choose the colors, foliage, pumpkins and bows that made their wreath feel just right. 🎃🍁

Now the doors around the Lantern are starting to look a little more like fall, and each one has its own personality. There’s something special about seeing the choices our residents make become part of the place they call home. 🧡

A big thank-you to Kendall and Stephanie for helping bring the residents’ ideas to life! We’re loving the fall transformation around here. 🍂

🐰🐱🐔 You never quite know who might walk through the door at the Lantern!

Animal visits are always a favorite with our residents, and this visit from Jellybean Rescue brought a pretty great group of guests. Sweet bunnies, a one-of-a-kind Sphynx cat and even a hen named Hope stopped by to say hello. ❤️

There were plenty of smiles as our residents got to meet each animal and enjoy a little one-on-one time with some very special visitors. And Hope the hen? She definitely made an impression! 🐔😊

We’re grateful to JellyBean Pet Rescue for bringing these animals to our community and giving our residents the chance to experience the comfort, curiosity and companionship that animals can bring. We’re already wondering who might show up next! 💚

🌟 We love seeing this story shared by Cleveland State Community College!

Dr. Terri Hall spent years helping students find what they were capable of. At 73, she stepped onto the Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent Chattanooga stage and showed there was still something new for her to discover about herself.

And there’s another connection that makes this story especially meaningful. Cleveland State is one of the Morning Pointe Foundation’s partner schools, with funds raised through Seniors Got Talent helping support scholarships for students preparing for careers in healthcare and senior care.

Congratulations again, Terri, and thank you to Cleveland State for sharing her story!
