💙 For a lot of men, being the one who needs help is unfamiliar territory.

They've spent years fixing things, solving problems, taking care of their families, and showing up when others needed them. That's why conversations about aging and senior living can sometimes be more complicated than people realize.

🏡 This week’s Understanding Senior Living blog explores why many older men approach these decisions differently and how friendship, purpose, and connection continue to matter at every stage of life.

At Morning Pointe Senior Living, we've seen how meaningful relationships can help make a new chapter feel a little more familiar.

The competition is officially underway! ⭐🏅

June's sports theme is off to a great start . Our residents are already having a blast trying new games and cheering each other on. During a recent game of "Catch-a-Star," participants worked together to uncover hidden stars, earning points for their teams and celebrating each exciting discovery along the way. 😊

The room was filled with laughter, encouragement, and friendly competition as residents stayed engaged and enjoyed time together. A special thank you to our wonderful volunteer, Carla, for joining in the fun and helping make the afternoon even more enjoyable! ✨

Today at Morning Pointe Senior Living, we are honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who served on D-Day. 🇺🇸 Their bravery during one of World War II’s most pivotal moments continues to be remembered generations later.

We are grateful for the heroes who served and the legacy they left behind.

The spotlight is shining on Morning Pointe's Seniors Got Talent! ⭐🎤💙

We had a wonderful time visiting WTVC-TV NewsChannel 9 News The ARC to help spread the word about upcoming Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent auditions in the Chattanooga area. Joining the segment were 2025 Chattanooga winner Jeffrey Wells and The Lantern At Morning Pointe, Collegedale - Memory Care Executive Director Bailey Hufstettler, who shared their excitement about this year's competition and the incredible talent found throughout our senior communities. 😊✨

Seniors Got Talent is about so much more than a performance. It's an opportunity for older adults to share their gifts, build confidence, connect with others, and inspire audiences through their talents and life experiences.

A big thank you to News Channel 9 for helping us celebrate the amazing seniors who continue to prove that talent has no age limit!

Bangkok is bringing the flavor this month. 🍜🇹🇭

June’s Morning Pointe in Motion destination virtually takes residents to Bangkok, Thailand, where vibrant street food, bold flavors, and cultural experiences inspire this month’s activities and tastings. Pad Thai, themed experiences, and opportunities to learn about a different part of the world will all be part of the journey.

Morning Pointe in Motion continues to give residents meaningful ways to explore new places, try something different, and share experiences together without ever leaving the community.

Be sure to check with your Activity Director to see what Bangkok-inspired experiences are coming to your community this month.

A meaningful day doesn't happen by accident. 💜⏰

At The Lantern at Morning Pointe, every part of the day is intentional. From the timing of activities to the pacing of the schedule, our Meaningful Day™ program is thoughtfully designed around what we know helps individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia feel more successful, comfortable, and engaged.

Rather than filling a calendar with activities, we focus on creating a rhythm to the day that supports residents' abilities, encourages participation, and helps make each day feel purposeful.
