💜 Badeaux Medical Group is still OPEN! 💜

We are now a GYN-only clinic, and our nurse practitioner, Kylie Thibodeaux, is here and ready to continue caring for all of our loyal patients!

The last few days have been a lot for all of us to absorb, but one thing is for sure—we are still here, still showing up, and still greeting our wonderful patients with smiling faces!

We cannot thank everyone enough for the patience, kindness, and understanding you have shown us during this transition. Even when all of our phone lines are busy, please know that we are working hard to answer every call, return every message, and make sure everyone is taken care of.

We are also working diligently to personally contact each patient who was scheduled with Dr. Badeaux so that we can discuss the next steps and make a plan for their care. We appreciate your patience as we work through each patient individually.

Badeaux Medical Group is still here, and we look forward to continuing to care for you! 💜

To Our Loyal Patients,

We would like to share that, following a recent unexpected injury, Dr. Damian Badeaux will no longer be practicing medicine.

While this marks the end of an exceptional chapter in Dr. Badeaux’s career, Badeaux Medical Group will remain open and continue operating as a gynecology clinic. Dr. Badeaux will continue to oversee the clinic, and our nurse practitioner will continue seeing and caring for our GYN patients.

To our current OB patients: Please keep your scheduled appointments. We will discuss the transition and transfer of your care with you at that time to help make the process as smooth as possible. At this time, we will not be accepting new OB patients.

After many years of dedicated service and compassionate care to countless women and families throughout our community—including the incredible privilege of delivering more than 6,500 babies—this is an incredibly difficult and emotional transition for Dr. Badeaux, our staff, and our patients.

We kindly ask for your patience, understanding, and support as we navigate this unexpected transition and make the necessary changes within our practice.

We are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in Dr. Badeaux throughout his remarkable career and for your continued trust and support of Badeaux Medical Group. 💜

Medical Assistant / LPN
Opelousas, LA
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floating across all office positions, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
-Prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals, and review medical histories
-Assist providers during gynecologic and obstetric procedures
-Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and sterilize instruments
-Update and manage patient records using eCW
-Educate patients on procedures, medications, and aftercare instructions
-Support front-office operations as needed

Qualifications
-Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA) or Active LPN License
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-Professional and compassionate demeanor
-Previous experience in OB/GYN or women’s health preferred
-Familiarity with eCW EMR preferred
