This weekend, we completed another Prenatal Massage Therapy: Foundations training at New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy.

Together, we learned about the pregnant body, trimester changes, positioning, modifications, safety, clinical thinking, and how to approach prenatal massage with confidence instead of fear.

Because mothers deserve practitioners who understand the changing body they’re living in.

And therapists deserve education that helps them feel informed, grounded, and prepared.

Congratulations to this wonderful group. I can't wait to see how you carry this work forward.

Hello June.

Longer days often bring renewed energy — and with it, new clarity.

This is a powerful time to revisit your “why” and reconnect with the kind of practitioner you are becoming.

What drew you to bodywork or holistic healing, and how has that evolved?

Something exciting is in development at New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy…

We are thrilled to share that a brand-new program is currently in development — designed for wellness and bodywork professionals interested in expanding their knowledge in one of the fastest-growing areas of holistic wellness.

As part of our commitment to providing thoughtful, practitioner-focused education, we are excited to be partnering with Hooga Health, who has generously provided one of their red light therapy panels for us to explore, test, and incorporate into demonstrations as we thoughtfully build this upcoming educational experience.

At NEBWA, we do not create programs lightly.

We take our time. We research. We explore real-world applications. We ask questions. And most importantly, we think deeply about how a modality can safely, ethically, and meaningfully support practitioners and the clients they serve.

We believe education should feel both grounded and practical, which means taking a hands-on approach before bringing anything into the classroom.

And let’s just say… we are very excited about this one. 👀

Pre-enrollment will be opening soon.

If you have been curious about red light therapy and how it may complement wellness, recovery, bodywork, and holistic practice — stay close.

More details coming soon

Hello May.

As the season opens, this is a moment to check in with balance — physically, emotionally, and professionally.

Your nervous system is not separate from your work. It is part of your greatest tool.

What supports help you stay regulated and grounded in your day-to-day work?

Such a beautiful group to spend a few days with.

Congratulations to our Craniosacral Therapy Level 1 practitioners on completing Foundations at New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy.

There was curiosity, focus, a lot of questions, and those moments where things started to click—which is always my favorite part to witness.

This work asks you to slow down in a way most people aren’t used to, and each of you leaned into that in your own way.

You showed up for the learning, for the practice, and for yourselves.

That’s what makes the difference.

Excited to see how this continues to unfold for you as you bring it into your sessions.

There’s a different kind of dedication it takes to stay for the full experience, move through both Foundations and Advanced, and really be in the work.

Congratulations to our newest Manual Lymphatic Drainage practitioners who completed the full 5-day Foundations & Advanced training in the Vodder Method at New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy.

The week was layered.
Learning the system. Understanding flow. Practicing with intention.
Refining your touch over and over again.

From full-body protocols to head, neck, and face, to post-op considerations and clinical application, you showed up, stayed present, and did the work.

And you didn’t stop there.

You stepped into the clinic.
Worked with real clients.
Completed your SOAP notes.
Demonstrated your understanding.
And passed your final exam.

That matters.

Because MLD isn’t just a technique. It’s awareness. It’s precision. It’s knowing when to do less, not more.

Proud of each of you for leaning in, asking questions, and allowing yourselves to grow into this work.

Now it’s about integration.

Congratulations to our newest Manual Lymphatic Drainage Level 1 (Foundations) Practitioners on completing their training at New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy.

Over two days, you didn’t just learn technique—you began to understand the rhythm of the lymphatic system, the importance of presence in touch, and the responsibility that comes with this work.

This is where it begins.
Refinement. Integration. Confidence.

I’m honored to have guided you through your foundations and look forward to watching each of you grow, evolve, and serve with integrity in your practice.

Welcome to the next level of your journey.

Hello April.

This month reminds us that mastery is built slowly — through repetition, curiosity, and presence.

At NEBWA, we value embodied learning, not rushed outcomes.
