A lot of parents are surprised when I tell them I adjust newborns. 👶

So let me explain what that actually looks like.

It's nothing like an adult adjustment. For a brand new baby, we're often using just a fingertip — a no-force, incredibly gentle technique — mostly focused on the neck and spine.

Why the neck? Because that's often where birth stress shows up first. Even in a totally "normal" delivery, the forces involved can leave tension in a baby's still-forming nervous system. That tension affects everything: digestion, sleep, comfort, development.

The adjustment helps release it. Gently. Safely.

Most babies don't even fuss — a lot of them fall asleep on the table. 😴
