Celebrating National Assisted Living Week by highlighting one of our most talented residents, Gail!
Gail began her career as an illustrator for the US Navy and Marines in San Diego, and later established the Instructional Media Center for the Grossmont High School District in La Mesa, CA.
She moved to Alaska in 1976 and has completed over 59 original paintings and 16 major public commissions in Alaska.
In 2006, she was commissioned for the Alaska Governor’s inaugural poster and in 2012, she received Alaska’s highest honor of a Governor’s Award for the Arts as an Individual Artist.
She has taught art classes for her fellow residents for years her at All Seasons, and we are so grateful she is a part of our community!
