SPARK in action ✨
Susan loved leading word games. She did a great job. We were trying to figure out how many words we could find that started with the letters in JUNE. She helped residents come up with words and wrote each one down.

Who says you can’t have fun while exercising your brain? She had the whole group laughing and engaged with her lively personality. Here is a short video of her telling the group of all the words they had come up with it for the letter N.

We love when Tiggie the Ferret visits! Thank you Shayla for bringing him in to our community. It’s amazing how such a small animal can bring so much joy to our lives. Tiggie got so comfortable with the residents he even fell asleep in their arms ❤️

🍩 Happy National Donut Day 🍩

Today we celebrated by having donuts from Donut Wheel. They were delicious! We also learned about how National Donut Day originated. It’s always the first Friday in June. It’s been celebrated since 1938 when the Salvation Army volunteers would serve donuts to the soldiers in World War l.

Today we definitely were apart of that 10 billion donuts consumed per year (per statistics). AND we enjoyed every bite we took. 😬

The roadwork on Desert Sky is still underway. The entrance to Desert Sky is ONLY accessible from N Oracle Rd at this time. Thank you for your patience - we do not have an estimated date of completion at this time.

**ROADWORK UPDATE**

Desert Sky is close this morning for paving. Please use alternate routes of either El Conquistador or Linda Vista (when you reach Desert Sky you will need to drive around road blockades). We are unsure how long this project will continue at this time.
