On this incredibly beautiful Thursday afternoon, I sit here and reflect on this past week.

We took a huge leap of faith and left our day training building for a bigger space we can grow into and thrive in.

That first building was such an integral part of CC’s journey. The fact that we outgrew it as quickly as we did is nothing but a testimony to the incredible work we do and the community we’ve built in these past four years!

Now onto the new… this first week has been nothing short of incredible! It is hard to even put words to it.

We saw teamwork, commitment to safe, quality care, friendship, joy…. It’s been an amazing week! Looking forward to what’s to come!

What an amazing day of community and support! We had over 40 people come to our open house today! We are so thankful for everyone that made time to come out and see our new space.

It has been a busy, exciting day full of hard work and some elbow grease! Thankful for another year partnering with Daviess County Public High School senior project day! We had an awesome group of very hardworking young men— cleaning and moving furniture, getting the new space ready for participants!

The Lord was really shining down in favor on Commonwealth Connections yesterday! Donations of a treadmill, break room table for staff, outdoor connect four and tic-tac-toe. As well as a brand new gas grill for the center!! A HUGE thank you to Dianne and Joe for this generous gift!

🎉 Exciting News from Commonwealth Connections! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that we are moving into a brand new 11,000 square foot facility for our Adult Day Training program! With this expansion, we now have 25 openings available for new participants.

At Commonwealth Connections, we focus on helping adults with disabilities build skills, confidence, independence, and meaningful community connections in a fun and supportive environment.

✨ Our daily small-group rotation schedule includes:

🏠 Daily living skills
🎨 Arts & creativity
🍳 Cooking skills
🤝 Socialization
💼 Pre-vocational skills

🌟 We also offer daily community outings in small groups so participants can actively engage with and enjoy their community.
