🎉Advocacy Success: Kentucky’s 4% cut to the Medicaid Program has been reversed!
Over the past several weeks, families, providers, advocacy organizations, legislators, and community members came together to share how the program reduction would affect access to healthcare services across our state. Thousands of voices helped demonstrate that protecting children’s access to care is an investment in Kentucky’s future.
Thank you to every Kentuckian who stood together to protect children’s access to therapy services. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who spoke up, shared their stories, contacted legislators, and advocated for children who rely on Medicaid services. Your voices made a difference!
While we celebrate today, our work is not finished. We remain committed to advocating for sustainable Medicaid programming that allows therapy providers to continue delivering high quality, evidence based care to the families who need it most.
