Our Garden Club continues to grow — literally! Over the past few weeks, our clients have been learning how to plant, water, maintain, and monitor a garden while building responsibility and life skills along the way.

We're excited to share that we recently added raised garden beds just outside our Adult Day Training program, creating an even more accessible space for hands-on learning. And the best part? We've already harvested our first strawberries! 🍓

From tomatoes and peppers to strawberries, our clients are seeing firsthand how patience, consistency, and teamwork help something grow. A special thank you to Behavior Services Director Olivia Hardy for sharing her gardening knowledge and helping our friends learn every step of the process.

This project is about more than gardening — it's about building confidence, responsibility, healthy habits, and pride in a job well done.

One of our favorite summer traditions is making visits to the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden.

The beautiful scenery and peaceful walking paths make it a perfect place for our clients to explore, connect with nature, and enjoy time together in the community.

We're excited to have several trips planned this summer and can't wait to see what's blooming. Thank you to the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden for providing such a welcoming space for our friends year after year.

One of the goals of our Community Living Supports (CLS) program is helping individuals build skills that support greater independence and overall well-being in everyday life.

For our friend Jamie, that goal is increasing physical activity and incorporating exercise into her routine. During her CLS sessions, she has been exploring different ways to stay active, including walking around Legion Park, completing laps around Target, and walking a half-mile on the treadmill at Planet Fitness.

What makes CLS unique is that services are individualized to each person's goals and interests. Whether it's health and wellness, community access, budgeting, household skills, or social development, our team works alongside clients to build skills that lead to greater independence and confidence.

We're proud of Jamie and the progress she is making toward her goals!

A huge thank you to the youth group from Owensboro Christian Church for spending time serving at Puzzle Pieces.

These students came ready to work and helped us clean our Autism Services building by scrubbing floors, wiping down tables and chairs, and helping prepare our spaces for summer programming.

Acts of service like this make a meaningful difference for our organization, and we are grateful for young people who are willing to give their time and energy to support our mission.

Thank you for your hard work and servant hearts!

A huge thank you to the students from Daviess County HS (Ky) Official who spent their Senior Service Day volunteering at Puzzle Pieces.

These students worked hard across our campus helping with landscaping, trash collection, and outdoor cleanup projects that make a big difference for our clients, staff, and families.

As the weather gets warmer and our summer programming approaches, having community members willing to give their time and energy means so much to us. We are grateful for students who chose to spend part of their senior year serving others and investing in our mission.

Thank you for helping make our campus a better place.

We are excited to celebrate another group of incredible graduates from our Puzzle Pieces family. 🎓

Congratulations to Ethan, Landon, and Emma on graduating from Daviess County HS (Ky) Official! We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and determination each of them has shown throughout their journey.

We also want to celebrate Lesley on graduating from Owensboro Community & Technical College, where she earned her Career and Life Skills Certification.

Milestones like these represent so much more than a diploma or certificate — they reflect perseverance, support systems, personal growth, and bright futures ahead. We cannot wait to see what each of these graduates accomplishes next.

Congratulations, graduates!
