Men... I have a serious question and I genuinely want an honest answer. Trust me you cant hurt my feelings. Why if a woman tells you she doesn't want a relationship but she's willing to be friends do yall decide to spend ridiculous money on her even when she says u dont have to to then feel some type of way when ur broke and she still dont want to be in a relationship. Did she actually use you or did you think ur money could change her mind and got ur feelings hurt when it didn't?

Ladies... I always wanna hear from yall but this is specifically for the men to answer.

Insomnia rant:

Yesterday was one of those days when ur purpose aligns with ur circumstances and for just a minute everything makes sense. Ive met some very interesting people in the last few days. But one in particular means the world bc she told me she needs to fight for herself again. And thank you for reminding me what that means. Little did she know she was reminding me to fight for myself while simultaneously making me see what lights me up inside. I know addicts cause pain and destruction in their addiction. I know sometimes u have to distance yourself from them for peace and clarity. Oh my god how beautiful moment when u get to sit down with someone long enough for them to remember to smile. Getting someone to laugh when u can tell they haven't in a while. Allowing someone to rest in the knowledge u wont judge them. There's nothing like it and I do it for free even though im certified to get paid for it. Thanx universe. I needed that.

Care taking is one of the hardest jobs on the planet. The lack of conversation about all that goes on when trying to navigate the changes that come with someone's life whether its an injury, old age, major transition or rehab of any kind. Everyone mentions it as hard makes a face and moves on like its not ok to admit it can push u to the brink. And sometimes multiple times a day. I think i want to start having these conversations. Not just to vent( because believe me I will)) but bc i want to give others the opportunity to as well. To openly express this s**t feels impossible sometimes.

Now if only I knew how to start a page for that. Any suggestions?

I remember I used to listen to this song every morning omw to work when I was coming out of my last SA period. It strikes me that as I was taking this picture I felt the words whole heartedly but as soon as i looked at the picture I started picking myself apart. Skin looks dull, eyes tired, smile not quite reaching my eyes. And I chose to post it anyway bc I am tired. And yet I'm out being productive and continuing to fight and that part is down right gorgeous. Phylicia Faison GOOD MORNING GORGEOUS😘
