Choosing a Community Participation Support (CPS) provider is about more than availability: it’s about finding a partner who understands your family’s goals and supports a meaningful, self-directed life. 💙

As you compare providers ahead of ODPANN 26-068, effective January 1, 2027, consider asking:

✅ How do you support real community participation and independence?
✅ How are the person’s goals developed, practiced, and tracked?
✅ Do your services reflect person-centered, evidence-based, Everyday Lives principles?
✅ How are you preparing for the 2027 OVR vendor requirement connected to Supported Employment?
✅ How will you communicate progress with the individual, family, and support team?

At Safe Social Space Therapeutic Services, we’re preparing ahead of the change so families can continue focusing on connection, choice, growth, and everyday opportunities. Our CPS services complement social skills training, behavior support, group therapy, and community-based skill building.

We serve individuals through the Community Living, Consolidated, Person/Family Directed Support (PFDS), and Adult Autism (AAW) waivers across Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware, Bucks, Chester, and Lehigh Valley counties.

Is your family starting to feel the late-July jitters? 🎒✨

Back-to-school season often brings a mix of excitement and anxiety, especially for our neurodivergent learners. From navigating IEP meetings to adjusting to new classroom environments, we know that these transitions represent a major milestone for both students and their caregivers.

At Safe Social Space, we are deeply rooted in the "Everyday Lives" philosophy, ensuring that every individual has the support they need to thrive and shine. Whether it's mastering social transitions or easing the anxiety of a new teacher, we’re here to help you bridge the gap and celebrate growth.

Here is how we can support your transition this fall:
🦋 IEP Strategy: Ensuring plans are person-centered and focus on potential.
🦋 Social Skill Practice: Building confidence for the classroom and the cafeteria through tailored training.
🦋 Transition Support: Helping students and parents navigate the change in routine with evidence-based approaches.

You don’t have to do this alone! Our dedicated DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) are ready to provide the tools, empathy, and empowerment needed for a successful school year.

Tech workplaces often come with an unwritten rulebook. 💻

When should I speak up in a meeting? What does “circle back” mean? Should feedback happen live or asynchronously? How much small talk is expected: and what does success look like in the office culture?

Safe Code (Social Coded) helps make these expectations visible for neurodivergent learners. Through practical, real-world preparation, learners explore:

• Meeting norms, agendas, and participation options
• Async communication and response-time expectations
• Feedback scripts and ways to ask for clarification
• Small talk, collaboration, and workplace culture
• AI tools, product design, coding, and technical autonomy

For employers, inclusion is more than hiring diverse talent. It means building clear systems, offering practical accommodations, and creating communication practices where different thinking styles can contribute and thrive. Simple supports: written instructions, predictable agendas, captions, quiet spaces, flexible communication, and clear feedback: can unlock extraordinary talent.

When technical autonomy grows, so does meaningful participation in community life. That is the heart of the “Everyday Lives” philosophy: greater independence, belonging, and opportunity in every setting: including the workplace. 💙💛

Let’s turn hidden rules into visible pathways to contribution.
