Spartan Pharmacy was created because a dire need existed in retail community pharmacy: there is a definite lack of compassionate, convenient, and affordable pharmacies in this day and age of mega pharmacy chains. Pharmacy at some point evolved into a mindless, factory-like mentality in which the pharmacists pump out as many prescriptions as possible, trying to be as accurate as possible. No though

t goes into the process beyond filling the current prescription exactly as the physician wrote it is typically exhibited. There is no connection. The pharmacist typically does not know you, and you probably do not know the name of your pharmacist. This is not the case at Spartan Pharmacy. Every prescription is an opportunity to review what a physician has prescribed for a patient, consider it’s benefits and contraindications, and MOST IMPORTANTLY consider whether it is affordable to the patient. The most important job of Spartan Pharmacy’s staff is to understand our patient’s needs, and to be their advocate.
