Dr. Pritham Raj was featured on KPTV today talking about adult ADHD! 🎙️

Active Path's Chief Medical Officer spoke with reporter Nora Hart about why more adults are seeking ADHD diagnosis later in life, including how job struggles are often the clearest sign in adults, why the pandemic surfaced symptoms for so many people who "seemed fine" before, and why women are frequently diagnosed much later than men.

He also shared a great reminder about social media: that constant scrolling can feed the same dopamine-seeking loop that makes ADHD symptoms harder to manage, which is why setting limits really does help.

Such an important conversation. Thank you, Dr. Raj, for helping bring clarity to it. 💙

When a teen is struggling with depression, families can feel like they’re running out of options far too quickly. That’s why it matters so much to see TMS continue to grow as a treatment option for adolescents.

We know how hard it is to watch a young person keep hurting while trying to find the right support. TMS offers a non-medication treatment path that may be worth exploring for some adolescents and young adults. It’s done in the clinic, doesn’t require sedation, and gives families another option to talk through when traditional treatment hasn’t brought enough relief.

For parents, caregivers, and providers looking for new possibilities, this is an encouraging step forward. If you’d like to learn more about adolescent TMS at Active Path, we’re here to help you understand what it is, who it may be for, and what the process looks like.

And, TMS for adolecents is covered by several insurance plans.

Considering Spravato, but curious what the process actually looks like? It’s normal to have questions.

How often are appointments?

What happens during a session?

Is it covered by insurance?

Our recent blog breaks down the full treatment experience so you can feel informed and confident before taking the next step.

Spravato is administered under medical supervision and is used alongside an oral antidepressant for adults with treatment-resistant depression. Understanding the details can make the decision feel less overwhelming and more empowering.

☀️ Active Path Mental Health hit the park this week! We're gathered at Cook's Park in Tigard for our annual company summer picnic. It was a chance to celebrate the people behind our mission and recharge together outside the clinic walls, with our families! Culture isn't just what we build for patients; it's what we build with each other.

Please join us in welcoming Thomas Hurst, CPA, as our new VP of Finance!

Thomas joins Active Path Mental Health with a career built around healthcare, most recently at Rainier Springs Behavioral Health Hospital and Providence Medical Group. He's spent years working alongside mental health providers and community organizations, so he doesn't just understand finance — he understands *our* world. We're so glad to have that experience guiding our growth.

Welcome to the team, Thomas! We're excited for what's ahead. 💙

As fireworks light up the sky over the next few days, we pause to reflect on what we observe this 4th of July: the enduring spirit of a nation shaped by service, sacrifice, and resilience.

Our clinics are closed today in honor of Independence Day. To every veteran, active duty, and military family member in our community: thank you. Your service is the foundation of everything we celebrate this holiday weekend.

Depression doesn’t usually appear overnight. Instead, it develops gradually, shifting from subtle changes in mood and motivation to more severe symptoms that affect daily life . . . all before you even have a chance to realize what’s happening. I\

If you look in the mirror and don’t recognize yourself these days, this post is for you.

In our latest blog, we explore the four stages of depression and what they may look like. Recognizing these stages can help you identify when it’s time to seek support, whether for yourself or for someone you care about.

Depression is treatable, and understanding where you are is often the first step toward healing.
