A WIRED investigation found thousands of Eventbrite posts selling es**rt services and drugs like Xanax and oxycodone—some of which the company’s algorithm recommended alongside addiction recovery events.

I’m studying german vocabulary to understand life. the vocabulary word of the day is: Kummerspeck (gaining weight from comfort eating)
This word refers to the weight one might gain after a bad relationship break up. This may be one of the very best literal German/English translations there is.
I love that this is so universal

Shift the paradigm for your relationships. Instead of complaining about your partner complaining all of the time, find new ways of appreciating them. They need that positive attention too!! Go get a piece of paper and write it all down, so it is easier for you to remember. It will make a big difference in your life.

Our brains are a mess. They point out the creak and groan in our apartment and warn us it’s most definitely a serial killer. And yet, the next day we only notice traffic and not the fact that it’s a beautiful day outside! We have to shift the paradigm and focus on the positive. Go into the woods and pay attention to everything that is beautiful

Kids need attention, they want it. Like they want oreos. And they will take them however they can get them. If they only know how to get bad attention then that is what they will do. IF they only can get soggy oreos that is what they will take. Help your kids learn how to get good attention! Praise their efforts and skills!
