At Berks Counseling Center, we’re proud to have dedicated professionals like Ashley leading the way. Ashley works closely with youth involved in juvenile probation and those participating in our Adolescent IOP for substance use, providing guidance, compassion, and support during some of the most critical moments in their lives.

Whether you’re working through something difficult, supporting a loved one, or need someone to talk to, you don’t have to do it alone.

✨ Your mental health matters
✨ Your story matters
✨ Support is here when you’re ready

Let’s continue to break the stigma, check in on one another, and create a community where it’s okay to ask for help, this month and beyond.

Berks Counseling Center will be closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day. Our offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, at 8:00 AM. We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday!

05/22/2026

For many people, holidays can be triggering, especially for those living with a substance use disorder or mental health condition. Increased stress, family dynamics, grief, loneliness, financial pressure, and environments where alcohol or substances are present can make this time especially overwhelming.

If you’re struggling, please know this:
✨ You are not alone.
✨ Your feelings are valid.
✨ Support is available, no matter what you’re facing.

The pressure to feel “happy” or “celebratory” can sometimes make things even harder. It’s okay to set boundaries, take breaks, or celebrate in a way that feels safe and meaningful for you.

At Berks Counseling Center, we understand that healing doesn’t take a holiday. Whether you’re navigating recovery, managing your mental health, or supporting a loved one, we’re here for you.

💙 Be gentle with yourself.
💙 Reach out. Stay connected.
💙 You deserve support, not just during the holidays, but every day.

If you're feeling overwhelmed or need someone to talk to, reach out to Berks Counseling Center at 610-373-4281. You can also stop by our office. We are here to help you on your journey.

You’re not alone in this!

💗 Proud to Support Pink Passion for Fashion! 💗

We are honored to be a sponsor of the 11th Annual Pink Passion for Fashion Show benefiting Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks. This incredible event celebrates strength, resilience, and the inspiring journeys of those impacted by breast cancer.

We are especially proud to share that one of BCC’s own, Lynn Novakoski, attended on our behalf. As a 17-year breast cancer survivor, Lynn’s strength and journey truly embody the spirit of this powerful event. 💕

Supporting this mission means helping provide hope, resources, and care to individuals and families right here in our community.

Together, we can continue making a difference!
