Foxtails may look harmless, but these grass seed easily attach to our pets and don’t back out! (Ouch!)

During this time, avoid walking through dry grassy areas and check your pet thoroughly after every walk. A quick check can save your fur baby from future pain and discomfort! 🩷
�If you suspect an embedded seed, please seek immediate veterinary care.

What to Watch For:�• Excessive licking�• Sudden lameness�• Head shaking or ear scratching�• Sneezing repeatedly or bloody nasal discharge�• Squinting, eye redness, or excessive tearing�• Swelling, redness, or draining wounds�• Sudden discomfort or unusual behavior

Today we are celebrating an incredible milestone—10 years with Klaich Animal Hospital!

For the past decade, Dr. Nichols has made a tremendous impact on our patients, clients, and team. Her dedication to veterinary medicine, compassionate care, and commitment to excellence have helped shape who we are today.
One of Dr. Nichols' greatest strengths is her unwavering support of our staff. She is always willing to teach, encourage, and help others grow. Whether she's answering questions, sharing her knowledge, or stepping in to lend a hand, she creates an environment where team members feel supported and valued. Her mentorship and leadership have helped countless team members build confidence and develop their skills.

Thank you, Dr. Nichols, for your hard work, kindness, patience, and the positive influence you've had on so many people over the last 10 years. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our family.

Meet Maeve!!! 🐾🌼 She is a 4 year old Irish Wolfhound who came in to see us this week for a c-section.

Sweet Maeve delivered 9, perfect babies. 6 boys and 3 girls! She is the absolute best mama and is taking such amazing care of her puppies.

Look at these adorable little faces!!! These tiny boys all got neutered today, but they all got TONS of love!!!!
