⚾️🇺🇸 Brookmeade Grand Slam Father's Day Celebration!🇺🇸⚾️

Today, the Brookmeade Community knocked Father's Day out of the park with our Grand Slam Father's Day Celebration! Residents enjoyed delicious hamburger sliders and French fries, refreshing mocktails, and ice cream served in adorable baseball helmet bowls.

The fun continued with door prize raffles, a showing of the classic baseball movie Major League, and special goody bags for all of our dads to take home.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day such a hit! Wishing all of our fathers, grandfathers, and father figures a very Happy Father's Day filled with love, laughter, and great memories! ⚾💙🏆

Please join us in congratulating three outstanding team members on their incredible accomplishments! 🎓

👏 Julianna Zeidan has officially passed her NCLEX and is now a Registered Nurse! Julianna began her Brookmeade journey in 2020 as a Hospitality Aide, stepped up as a Temporary Nurse Aide during the COVID-19 pandemic, then advanced to CNA, and now RN. Her dedication to learning and caring for others has been inspiring every step of the way. Julianna was also a proud recipient of the Brookmeade Nursing Scholarship.

👏 Carrie Veach has also passed her NCLEX and officially become a Registered Nurse! Carrie joined Brookmeade in 2008 as an aide, became a CNA in 2010, earned her LPN in 2016, and now adds RN to her list of accomplishments. Today, she serves as the Case Manager of the Terraces, where her leadership and compassion make a difference every day. Carrie was also a proud recipient of the Brookmeade Nursing Scholarship.

👏 Dabelva Fernandez Rodriguez is beginning an exciting new chapter as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) on the Terraces. Dabelva joined Brookmeade in 2022 in our Environmental Services (EVS) Department and has demonstrated a strong commitment to growth and service. We are thrilled to see her transition into this new caregiving role.

These achievements reflect the dedication, perseverance, and passion that make Brookmeade such a special community. We are incredibly proud of Julianna, Carrie, and Dabelva and look forward to seeing all they continue to accomplish.

🛳️🦆 Happy National Cruise Duck Day from The Brookmeade Community! 🦆🛳️

Today our staff and participants set sail on a fun-filled duck hunt throughout the community in celebration of National Cruise Duck Day! Cruise Director Christene hid cruise ducks for everyone to find, creating lots of excitement, laughter, and friendly competition along the way.

Congratulations to Esmerelda, LPN from The Meadows, who found the most ducks and was crowned our Grand Prize Winner of Movie Tickets!

We also brought the fun to our S.A.S.S. (Soup & Sandwich for Seniors) Luncheon, where we had not one, but two winners—and both were named Barbara! What are the chances? 🦆

Thank you to everyone who participated, searched for ducks, and shared in the fun. At Brookmeade, we love creating opportunities to bring people together, spark joy, and make lasting memories.

We are excited to announce that Naim Fanek has been appointed Administrator of The Terraces, and Carrie Veach has been named Case Manager of The Terraces. Their leadership, commitment, and dedication to our residents have made them both outstanding choices for these roles.

A Century of Memories, Love, and Celebration! 🎉

Today, The Brookmeade Community had the honor of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone as one of our special residents, Ms. Andrews, turned 100 years young! 💐

Ms. Andrews was surrounded by the love of family, friends, fellow residents, and staff who care deeply for her as we gathered to celebrate this incredible occasion. The festivities were made even more special with commemorative proclamations presented from Michelle Hinchey's office and Sue Serino's office, honoring her extraordinary life and milestone birthday.

One hundred years is a remarkable achievement, filled with cherished memories, wisdom, and countless stories. We are so grateful to have Ms. Andrews as part of our Brookmeade family.
