We’re kicking off a week of celebration at The Village at Cranberry Landing with FOOTBALL SPIRIT DAY!

Wear your favorite football jersey, team shirt or team colors today — and then join us at 1:00 PM for our Buffalo Bills Watch Party in our 2nd Floor Media Room! Our Gardens Neighborhood will be cheering from their living room, too!

National Assisted Living Week is a special opportunity to celebrate the residents who call assisted living home and the dedicated team members, families and friends who make our community such a special place to live, work and visit.

We have a whole week of FUN ahead of us. Let the celebration begin! 🎉⭐

🍂🚐 Cranberry Landing is ON THE MOVE again! 🚐🍂

From the thrills of Seabreeze to the beauty of Letchworth State Park, our residents continue to prove that adventure has NO age limit! ❤️

This time, our crew spent the day exploring Letchworth and the Humphrey Nature Center, learning about the wildlife, plants, geology, waterfalls and incredible history that make this New York treasure so special. Judging by these pictures, there was plenty to discover! 🐻🦅🍄🌿

🏞️ A few fun Letchworth facts: Known as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” Letchworth stretches along the Genesee River and features three major waterfalls — Upper, Middle and Lower Falls. The gorge is surrounded by cliffs reaching as high as 600 feet, and the park encompasses more than 14,000 acres. Even more impressive? Letchworth was voted the Best State Park in the United States in the 2015 USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Awards!

And for our nature lovers: the park is believed to be home to more than 15,000 organisms, and more than 50 species of butterflies have been documented there! 🦋🌳

We love giving our residents opportunities to go places, experience new things, revisit old memories and keep making new ones. Where will the Cranberry Landing crew head next?! 🚌💨

🎠☀️ Seabreeze Adventures with Cranberry Landing! ☀️🎠

There’s something pretty special about seeing our residents laugh, smile, and feel like kids again! 💙

Our trip to Seabreeze Amusement Park was filled with sunshine, carousel rides, great company, and LOTS of smiles! 🎠✨ And while some of us enjoyed a nice, relaxing ride on the carousel… I even heard we had a few brave souls take on the legendary Jack Rabbit! 🎢😲👏

Apparently, age is just a number when there’s a roller coaster waiting! ❤️

At The Village at Cranberry Landing, we believe life is meant to be lived, adventures are meant to be had, and you are NEVER too old to make a new memory!

A huge thank you to our team members who joined in the fun and helped make this such a wonderful day for our residents. These are the moments we love most. 🥰

MEET RENE — ONE OF OUR CRANBERRY LANDING HEROES 🇺🇸

Every veteran has a story. And some stories are simply too incredible not to share. ❤️🤍💙

Rene Vanmulem served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a Broadcast Specialist in Saigon. One of the most fascinating pieces of his story? Rene shared that he stepped into the position previously held by Adrian Cronauer — the broadcaster remembered for “Good Morning, Vietnam!” 🎙️🇺🇸

But what we love most about Rene’s story is his continued commitment to service, family and his fellow veterans.

When we asked Rene what he was most proud of, he told us:
“Being able to serve as an equal with the fellow members of my unit.”

Today and every day, we have the privilege of calling Rene part of our Cranberry Landing family. ❤️
