Ashley Woods has Bills fever and we're not looking for a cure!

A simple wish from one of our Ashley Woods Memory Care residents sparked something truly beautiful.

When they expressed the desire to attend church every day, our chaplains and Ashley Woods team didn't hesitate — they brought the church to them.

What was once a seldom-used den has been transformed into the Ashley Woods Chapel, a sacred space born out of love, compassion, and community. We were honored to welcome the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Kara Sherer, alongside our ESLC Chaplains to officially bless this space. The celebration was filled with joy and the spirit of what we do every day — meeting our residents right where they are.

We are so proud of this chapel and the hearts that made it possible.

An exciting new chapter is unfolding for our Oasis Rochester center! We are proud to announce that Episcopal SeniorLife Communities (ESLC) is now the sponsoring organization of Rochester Oasis.

A nonprofit serving older adults and their families throughout the Rochester area, ESLC shares our commitment to creating opportunities for people to stay engaged, connected and inspired at every stage of life.

And this new partnership comes with a new home! Beginning in January, Rochester Oasis classes will relocate to 1530 East Avenue. With support from the ESLC Foundation, the space is being updated to include an exercise and dance studio, teaching kitchen, classrooms, meeting rooms, a resource library, outdoor sitting areas and on-site parking.

We’re excited for all that this partnership will make possible and can’t wait to begin this next chapter together!
